Argentine Ant infestation outside and inside the house. Ants all over the kitchen, on the ceiling, in the cupboards, the walls of the bedrooms bathrooms kitchens, in couches, on the beds. Called on Wed finally and no one at Four Season was able to come out until Thursday. Ernie at Four Seasons was great and sprayed thoroughly which helped for 2 days and there were hundreds of ants back up on 3rd floor kitchen area when we left Saturday morning.

Fell in love with Nags Head and had fun at Shore Shack but will probably explore other properties in future.

Loved the outdoor shower, the top deck, the pool table and the tiki bar. The screens on the 2 floor porch need to be repaired.

This home is perfect for our family with small children. Plenty of beds to choose from and lots of space to play too. I loved being able to lay on the hammock while the baby napped upstairs.

Ant invasion on 2nd morning. I removed the source/ focus food and cleaned up all surfaces, then maintenance came immediately and assessed, did some basic work and an hour after that pest control showed up and sprayed the base columns outside. I didn’t see another ant all week!

This house has old beach charm, great beach access, and lots of space to relax. The response for maintenance issues is immediate and thorough. They really try to make sure you have the best vacation possible. Our second time at the home. One tip- if you have small children, bring a portable gate for the base of the steps on the main level, otherwise it is kid ready and definitely friendly.

This was one of my most favorite homes. The owner is extremely attentive to details. This was by far the most cleanest vacation homes I have stayed in, which is super important!

There was a big yellow bag of dirty towels left in the house when we arrived. We also noticed that some places upstairs did not look as well cleaned – we saw some hair in the carpet. We saw some ants in the kitchen.

We were very happy with the house. Beach access was a little tricky for us since it’s up over a steep dune and we had a couple babies to carry and tons of stuff.

The house was just what we were looking for. It felt like home and had everything we could think of. We had such a lovely time there. Only critique is that the gas grill was really dirty and the whole thing (bottom) caught on fire. We chalked that up to being end of season.

The house was wonderful and exactly as described. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We loved how close to the beach it was and all the extras like the hot tub and pool table. The only suggestion I would make for improvement would be a lock for the back screen door because the wind would open and close the door all night long. We put some chairs in front of it to keep it closed.

This was our second time at this property and we found it just as lovely as the first time. The house exceeded our needs, was clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen! We used the blender in the bar area upstairs, played pool, Manopoly, cards, and enjoyed the ocean views. It was so close to the beach! Saturday we went to the pool and they had our pool passes all ready for us, and food and drink available for purchase! Perfect for a relaxing way to unwind from a long drive and wait for our rental to be cleaned and ready for us to check in! We used the hot tub every day. The outside shower, spare beach chairs, corn hole game, and extra fridge really put the icing on a great visit! If you were going to try to make any improvements I would suggest ceiling fans in the bedrooms and some attention to the large yard. It looks like a great place to play with games and such but could use some minor landscaping, or even just a weed whacking. We were six adults and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Shore Shack!

Loved the unique layout and furnishings. The upstairs was a particularly nice, comfortable retreat. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable enough, but a little squeaky.

Would have been nice to know beach chairs were available (would have saved us space in the car), FYI the main level screen porch was getting significant water from above during rain. You might consider moving the high top table and chairs to the center of the upper level between pool table and sofa. Overall we enjoyed our stay in spite of bad weather. One of the best equipped kitchens we have had in a rental property.

Probably the funnest place we have stayed and the coolest colors. A little warning about wearing shoes at the can jam and ladder ball may be warranted as the sand spurs are wicked. Also the hammock is beating itself against the house and damaging the trim. A couple of alarm clocks could be added as there was only one clock in the rooms. Thank you for a great vacation week

Al though we had a fabulous time and the home is amazing, the only hang up we had was the size of the kitchen. A bit too small for my liking. We had two families staying there, and although there was ample seating, it was a bit difficult preparing meals. Do to the size of the preparation area of the kitchen.

They thought of everything! Everything we needed was there. It was a great vacation home and we loved everything about our stay. My only question was regarding the “community pool” that was included in the listing. There was no information in any of the paperwork or emails we received about the name of the pool, where it was or how to go about using it, so we never used it.

This is a wonderful vacation home for one or two families. The pool tub and hot tub kept our kids very entertained when we weren’t at the beach. The house is in close proximity to lots of shops and restaurants. It’s an easy drive to Cape Hatteras lighthouse and to the wild horses in Corolla. The house had everything we needed–plenty of dishes, cookware, games, TVs, seating, showers and things to do. It is a great find!
